Scope of Application

This Code of Conduct applies to all interactions with The Way We Grow (and any members of our team) including but not limited to:

• Article comments and discussions

• Contact forms and inquiry submissions

• Emails or messages sent through this website, or to a @thewaywegrow.ca email.

• Any other user-submitted content or communication via the site

Abusive, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate messages sent through the contact form or other communication channels will not be tolerated and may result in action as outlined below under “Moderation and Enforcement”, including refusal to respond or further engagement.

Respectful Participation

All users are expected to engage respectfully. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Treating others with courtesy and good faith

• Engaging in constructive, relevant discussion

• Disagreeing respectfully without personal attacks

Healthy debate is welcome. Harassment and hostility are not.

Prohibited Conduct

The following behavior will not be tolerated on this website:

• Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic

• Personal attacks, name-calling, threats, slander or intimidation

• Bullying, harassment, or abusive language

• Toxic, inflammatory, or deliberately disruptive behavior

• Repeated or excessive negative commentary intended to provoke or demean

• Spam, self-promotion, or irrelevant content

• Impersonation of others or misrepresentation of identity

Criticism & Feedback

We welcome thoughtful feedback and differing viewpoints. However:

• Aggressive, hostile, or demeaning criticism is not acceptable.

• Feedback intended to shame, belittle, or provoke others is not acceptable.

Any of the above criticism or feedback will be removed.

Moderation & Enforcement

The Way We Grow reserves the right to moderate all content at our sole discretion.

All comments and user-submitted content on The Way We Grow are moderated and require approval before being published. The Way We Grow reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to review, approve, edit, delay, or decline any comment or content submitted to the site.

We may take action without notice for content that:

• Violates this Code of Conduct

• Is abusive, hostile, or toxic in tone

• Constitutes harassment, bullying, or hate speech

• Is misleading, spam, or off-topic

• Undermines respectful discussion

Enforcement actions may include:

• Declining or removing comments

• Issuing warnings

• Restricting or permanently revoking commenting privileges

• Blocking users or IP addresses

• Reporting abusive, threatening, or unlawful content to appropriate authorities.

Submission of a comment does not guarantee publication. Moderation decisions are final.

Legal Compliance

All users must comply with applicable Canadian laws and regulations, including those related to online conduct, harassment, and hate speech.

Content that violates Canadian law will be removed and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Reporting Violations
